A petition has been moved in the Lahore High Court to stop the announcement of matriculation result.

The petitioner, Muhammad Arshad, a teacher of Islamia High School Sheikhupura, said that, due to wrong printing of objective questions in different papers, most of the students could not answer the questions.

In an Urdu paper, he said, students were asked to choose the name of first president of Muslim League from four given options. But, he said, all the four options were wrong.

The petitioner said, due to incorrect printing of the papers, the students had either selected wrong answers or decided not to fill the objective part of the papers. †

He prayed to the court to bar the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, from announcing the matriculation result on August 4 and instruct it to give grace marks to all students, averting their possible failure in the examination.
