DISTRICT and Sessions Court on Thursday handed over three children to their mothers after getting them recovered from the illegal custody of fathers.
Sania, a resident of Lohari, had filed a habeas corpus petition in the court alleging that her husband, Qasim Ali, was keeping her 14-month old son Sher Ali illegally in his custody. She prayed before the court for the recovery of her son. On her plea, the court deputed a bailiff who raided the house of Qasim and recovered the minor. The bailiff produced the minor before the court where he was handed over to her mother.
Meanwhile, the court, dealing with another petition, handed over two girls to their mother.
One Yasmin in her petition had contended that her husband, Nadeem, a resident of Bhgwanpurra, over a domestic issue had tortured her and kicked her out of his house.
She said that her husband had snatched from her two daughters, Rukhsar, 3, and Nageena Noor, 4. Muhammad Nadeem responding to the courtís notice produced the girls before the court. Later, girls were handed over to their mother in the courtroom. |
