Girl recovered from kidnappers |

THE National Highways and Motorway Police, N-5 Central, claimed to have foiled an attempt of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl named and arrested two kidnappers.
The driver of a bus (LRJ-2033) informed the motorway police that two suspicious persons were travelling in his bus with a girl who was weeping.
Patrolling officers Shahid Bashir and Sajid Hussain caught them near Thoker Niaz Baig, Lahore, from the bus and on initial interrogation, it was revealed that Zaib and Qaiser, residents of Khanewal, had kidnapped the girl. The girl told that her name was Shazia and she was a resident of Lodhran.
The girl said the accused were forcibly taking her to Multan and had threatened that they would kill her if she told anybody about it. The motorway police approached her family at Lodhran and handed her over to her family in the presence of local police.
On the instructions of DIG Syed Ibne Hussain, the accused were handed over to the local police for further action.
NH&MP Inspector General Dr Wasim Kauser has appreciated the efforts of the police officers and also announced cash reward for the bus driver and the police officers. |
